Terms of Service

Important legal information about using ShadowPay and the Radr Protocol ecosystem.

Important Notice

By accessing or using ShadowPay, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service. ShadowPay is provided "as-is" without warranties. You are responsible for compliance with your local laws.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ShadowPay, ShadowWire, and all related Radr Protocol services (collectively, the "Service"). By connecting your wallet and using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Nature of the Service

ShadowPay is a non-custodial privacy protocol on the Solana blockchain. We provide:

  • A user interface for interacting with on-chain smart contracts
  • Zero-knowledge cryptographic tools for privacy-preserving transactions
  • A relayer service for submitting transactions to the Solana network

Important: We do NOT custody, hold, or have access to your funds at any time. Your assets remain in your wallet or in smart contracts that only you control. We cannot recover lost funds, reverse transactions, or access your wallet.

3. Eligibility & Compliance

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

    Age: You are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
  • 2
    Legal Capacity: You have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
  • 3
    Jurisdiction: You are not located in, or a resident of, any restricted jurisdiction
  • 4
    Compliance: You will comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction regarding cryptocurrency use
  • 5
    Source of Funds: All funds you use are obtained legally and are not proceeds of illegal activity

YOU are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws.We do not provide legal advice. Consult a lawyer if you're unsure about the legality of using privacy tools in your jurisdiction.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to:

Money laundering or terrorist financing
Tax evasion or fraud
Funding illegal activities
Violating sanctions or embargoes
Infringing intellectual property rights
Hacking or exploiting smart contracts
Market manipulation or wash trading
Impersonating others or spreading malware

While we don't monitor user activity (see our Privacy Policy), we reserve the right to cooperate with law enforcement if we become aware of illegal activity.

5. Risks & Disclaimers

Using cryptocurrency and privacy protocols involves significant risks. You acknowledge and accept the following:

Blockchain Risk:

Solana network outages, congestion, or forks could prevent transactions or cause delays. We have no control over the blockchain.

Regulatory Risk:

Laws regarding cryptocurrency and privacy tools vary by jurisdiction and may change. You could face legal consequences depending on your location.

No Recovery:

If you lose your wallet private keys, send funds to the wrong address, or make an irreversible error, your funds are permanently lost. We cannot help you recover them.

6. Fees

ShadowPay charges the following fees:

  • ShadowWire Transfers: 1% relayer fee on all private transfers
  • Network Fees: Standard Solana transaction fees (paid separately to validators)
  • Withdrawal Fees: Small fee to cover relayer costs (amount varies by token)

Fees are subject to change. Updated fee schedules will be posted in the app and on our Tokenomics page.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS-IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
  • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOST FUNDS, MISSED PROFITS, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES
  • OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 USD
  • WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES (WALLETS, RPC NODES, ETC.)

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability. In such cases, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Radr Protocol, its team members, and contributors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use or misuse of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any laws or regulations
  • Your infringement of third-party rights

9. Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Block access to the UI from certain IP ranges or jurisdictions
  • Modify or update these Terms at any time

Important: Even if we shut down the UI, the smart contracts remain on Solana. You can always interact with them directly using the blockchain or alternative UIs.

10. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles.

Arbitration: Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

You waive any right to participate in class-action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

11. Miscellaneous

Severability:

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

Entire Agreement:

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Radr Protocol.

No Waiver:

Our failure to enforce any right doesn't constitute a waiver of that right.

Assignment:

You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them without restriction.
